About
Air France is the French flag carrier and the subsidiary of the Air France-KLM Group and one of the founding members of the Sky team alliance. Air France was formed from a merger of Air Orient, Air Union, Compagnie Générale Aéropostale, Compagnie Internationale de Navigation Aérienne (CIDNA), and Société Générale de Transport Aérien (SGTA). It was one of the three allied scheduled airlines operating in Germany during the Cold War. The airline has been the primary national flag carrier for seven decades prior to the merger with KLM in 2003.
Alliance
SkyTeam founded in June 2000 has 19 members who collectively carry over 630 million passengers each year reaching over 1150 destinations. SkyTeam alliance and its members have 750 lounges worldwide. Passengers can access privileges based on the status of the member airline's frequent flyer program. SkyTeam has two frequent flyer program tiers which are Elite and Elite Plus are linked with the status of the airline membership programs.
Class of Travel
Air France provides three classes of travel
Business Class- Business class seat moulds to the shape of the passenger's body allowing for utmost comfort and sleep quality. The improved seat also provides a flexible armrest with power outlets to work on the go.
Premium Economy- The defined comfort for the economy class comes in the Premium class with wider seats with an enveloping shell which allows for private space to travel in peace.
Economy Class- The economy class seats have an adjustable headrest which allows for both upright and inclined positions.
Baggage allowance
Economy class passengers are allowed 12kg free baggage allowance for hand luggage and 23kgs for checked-in luggage.
Business class passengers are allowed 18kg free baggage allowance for hand luggage and 32kgs each for checked-in luggage.

Frequent Flyer Programme
Flying Blue is the Air France-KLM's frequent flyer programme which allows earning miles based on the travel distance, fare and service class. Flying Blue program also includes Air Europa, Garuda Indonesia, Kenya Airways, Aircalin and TAMROM. Passengers can join as members as the program is free. Flying Blue has two types of miles: Award Miles and Level Miles, where Award Miles can expire in 20 months without flying and can be exchanged for other rewards and Level Miles is valid until 31 December of each year and is used to determine membership level. Award Miles can be redeemed for free tickets, upgrade in travel class, extra baggage allowance and lounge access. Members also can donate miles to charity through KLM AirCares or make purchases in the Flying Blue Stone. Award Miles can be earned on SkyTeam partners and Flying Blue partner airlines including Alaska Airlines, Air Corsica, Airlinair, Bangkok Airways, Chalair Aviation, Comair, Copa Airlines, Gol Transportes Aéreos, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, TAAG Angola, Twin Jet, and Ukraine International Airlines.
In-flight Services
Air France's "A LA CARTE" menu allows Premium Economy and Economy class passengers to choose from a meal with no additional cost. Guests can book the meals prior to departure as well. Gourmet cuisine is served as part of the La Premiere restaurant experience in the Business class cabins. Premium economy cabins can also enjoy the quality service including a 3-course traditional French meal. Guests can choose from a wine list proposed by the sommeliers which are matched with the meals.
Check-in
Domestic Flights - Passengers can check-in online 30 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
International Flights - Passengers can check-in online 30 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
Onboard Support
Air France provides assistance for passengers with special needs. Wheelchairs, airport assistance during check in are provided by on ground staff. Passengers can choose a service that best suits their need. Expectant mothers and parents of unaccompanied children can read rules and regulations before flying.
Refund & Cancellation
Passengers can cancel their booking either through AtlasGlobal sales’ offices or website. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
