Biman Bangladesh Airlines, বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স formerly known as Air Bangladesh is the national carrier of Bangladesh. The airline was founded in February 1972 operating internally in the aviation industry in Bangladesh and later expanded to cover 29 international destinations.

Class of Travel
Biman Bangladesh Airlines provides two classes of travel
Business Class - Biman Bangladesh Airlines provides a world-class experience with luxurious seats and services with premium seats for passengers and an onboard menu.
Economy Class - Biman Bangladesh Airlines provides guests can travel with the comfort with the wide seats which are designed for comfort and luxury during budget travel.

Baggage allowance
Economy class passengers are allowed 7 kg for carry-on and 20 kgs for checked-in luggage.
Business class passengers are allowed 10 kgs for carry-on and 20 kgs for checked-in luggage.

Frequent Flyer Programme
Biman Loyalty Club is the frequent flyer programme of Biman Bangladesh Airlines which provides customers free membership and the three-tier programme is self upgraded depending on the number of miles earnt by the passengers in a year. All members enjoy an advanced seating reservation along with redeeming miles for payment of excess luggage, lounge access and upgrading seats with miles.

In-flight Services
Biman Bangladesh Airlines provides guests with the world-class entertainment onboard, the in-flight magazine, Bihanga is a bi-monthly magazine which is available in English and Bengali. Biman launched its in-flight duty-free sales for customers. Each seat is equipped with a personal screen by Thales, which is pre-loaded with movies, audio and games. The airline provides onboard Internet, WiFi, mobile telephony, movie streaming and live TV streaming services in its new fleet. Biman offers Halal meals in all their flights, economy guests are requested to pre-book their meals during reservation and à la carte menus are offered for Business class passengers. Biman does not serve alcoholic beverages on board for economy class passengers.

Check-in
Domestic Flights - Passengers can check-in online 24 hrs to 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
International Flights - Passengers can check-in online 24 hrs to 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.

Onboard Support
Biman Bangladesh Airlines provides assistance for passengers with special needs. Wheelchairs, airport assistance during check in are provided by on ground staff. Passengers can choose a service that best suits their need. Expectant mothers and parents of unaccompanied children can read rules and regulations on Biman Bangladesh Airlines' website.

Refund & Cancellation
Passengers can cancel their booking either through Biman Bangladesh Airlines sales’ offices or website. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
