About
Mauritania Airlines is a Mauritanian flag carrier airline which was set up in post the demise of Mauritania Airways in 2010. The airline operates with a fleet size of 8 and covers over 15 destinations to West African countries.
Alliance
Arab Air Carriers Organisation is a non-political non-profit organisation in Beirut, Lebanon. The organization was set up upon the recommendation of the Transport Committee of the League of Arab States. With its main goal to promote cooperation, quality and safety standards they offer industry course in various aviation management programs and training in Human Resources which help airlines achieve in their training budgets among the Arab airlines. International Civil Aviation Organization signed an agreement with AACO that the airlines will have 0% growth of their emissions by 2020.
Travel Class
Mauritania Airlines provides two classes of travel.
Business Class: Passengers in the Business class are provided with semi recliner comfortable seating which is separated by a partition for privacy. Guests are given complimentary snacks, drinks and meals onboard depending on the duration of the flight.
Economy Class: Passengers in Economy class are provided with reclining headrest seats for a comfortable flight which is equipped with USB ports and individual overhead storage bins.
Baggage allowance
Passengers are allowed to carry hand baggage which can weigh up to 12 kgs and the checked bag can be 2 pieces weighing up to 23 kgs each. Passengers can read about excess luggage allowance, special baggage and additional charges here.
Check-in
Mauritania Airlines provides only AIRPORT CHECK IN
Domestic Flights - Passengers can AIRPORT CHECK IN 2 hr prior to the scheduled departure time.
International Flights - Passengers can AIRPORT CHECK IN 3 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
In-Flight Services
Mauritania Airlines offers passengers with a buy-on-board / pre-book menu which consists of snacks, hot/cold meals along with beverages. All special meals can be requested 24 hours before departure by contacting the airline directly to know more about the options.
Onboard support
Mauritania Airlines provides assistance for guests with special needs, Infants, expectant mothers, unaccompanied minors and any pre-departure arrangements. Passengers in need of mobility support will be provided with wheelchair services during the flight. Please contact the airline directly for any support requests.
Refund and Cancellation
Passengers can cancel their booking either through Mauritania Airlines sales’ office directly. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
